Kompas adalah alat untuk menentukan arah
mata angin. komponen kompas antara lain :
1. Dial, adalah permukaan yang tertera pada
angka dan huruf seperti permukaan jam.

melalui kaca pembesar
Compass is a tool to determine the direction of the wind. Parts of the compass are important include:
1. Dial, which is the surface where the numbers and letters printed on the surface like hours.
2. Visir, the target sight
3. Magnifying glass, for the reading of the figures
4. needle
5. Close dial with two angled lines 45
6. Hanger tool, can also be used as a prop penyangkut thumb compass for aiming at.
The numbers in the compass and the term
North = North = 0
North East = Northeast = 45
East = East = 90
South East = East = 135
South = South = 180
South West = Southwest = 225
West = West = 270
North West = West = 325
How to Use Compass:
1. Put your compass on top of a flat surface. after the compass needle does not move anymore, then the needle is pointing towards magnetic north.
2. Aim the target through Visir with a magnifying glass. Tilt the layout a little magnifying glass, approx 50 in which serves for aiming towards Visir and lurking figures on the dial.
3. If Visir doubt due to lack of clear views of the magnifying glass, straighten lines contained only the dial in the direction of cap Visir, the direction of the target to be easily seen through the viewfinder magnifier
